PDCA for Process Management with the 12 Key Questions
for Establishing Process Ownership
If you stopped people on the street, how many
of them do you think would be able to define ‘PDCA’
(Plan-Do-Check-Act)? Those in the know understand that it
represents the continuous improvement cycle and is mostly used for
problem solving in manufacturing environments. In this discussion,
we will delve into how the PDCA cycle can be applied as a systematic,
powerful, yet simple approach to managing any process, whether
manufacturing or service. In addition, we will cover the 12
Key Questions for Establishing Process Ownership and provide
a gap analysis for determining areas for improvement.
Join us as we explore PDCA for Process Management,
the benefits of which include:
· A management system containing
the essential elements of process management that has continuous
improvement as it’s foundation
· A model that is easy to
understand, simple to teach, and effective in the development of managers
· A consistent format for
creating management standards across all processes of the company;
leading to a self-perpetuating culture of continuous improvement.
