Strategic Supply Management
Using tools
such as a spend analysis, global market research, cost analysis, process
mapping, six-sigma improvement tools and performance metrics, today’s
supply chain professional needs to rationalize the supplier base, improve
performance and build relationships, and finally integrate the supplier
and customer. Sam will be doing a
presentation and sharing a case study on strategic sourcing
decisions. He will convey the
complexity and activities of strategic sourcing as compared to simply
identifying a competitive source and issuing a purchase order as many
purchasing organizations have typically done in the past.
|
To register for the meeting, send an email to reservations@apicsgulf.org
or call Kevin Hauge, CPIM at (727)

Monday, September 8th.
